The Challenge
This project began with nothing more than a 12'x12' poured concrete pad — no shade, no lighting, no built-in seating — just an exposed, underwhelming patch of concrete.
It baked in the summer sun, sat in darkness at night, and offered little more than space for a couple of folding chairs.
The Solution
We reimagined the space into a full-scale outdoor living area, designed for year-round enjoyment. We installed a custom outdoor kitchen with a sit-up bar, a remotely adjustable pergola for instant shade control, and a cozy hot tub for relaxing evenings.
Built-in landscape lighting and outdoor audio turned the space into a true extension of the home, with every element tailored to enhance comfort, style, and functionality. The stonework’s warm, natural tones tie seamlessly into the home’s existing aesthetic, making the new space feel like it was always meant to be there.
The Result
What was once a blank slab is now the heart of the backyard and a place for quiet nights under the stars, weekend barbecues, or spontaneous gatherings with family and friends.
With the touch of a button, the pergola adjusts to the weather, and the entire space comes to life with music and soft lighting. It’s the kind of backyard upgrade that turns everyday moments into something unforgettable.
