The Challenge
While the lake view was stunning, the path to get there was anything but. The hillside was steep, uneven, and rapidly eroding, creating a serious safety risk—especially with the changing water levels throughout the seasons.
The homeowners couldn’t enjoy their shoreline without worrying about slips, falls, or further damage to the property.
The Solution
We engineered a stable, natural-looking shoreline, reinforcing the slope to prevent erosion and create safe, accessible pathways down to the water.
Up top, we installed a paver patio, the perfect spot to relax and take in the view, and used low-profile landscape lighting to illuminate the space without interrupting the natural beauty. Carefully selected plantings added softness and color while supporting the new drainage system to protect the hillside for years to come.
