The Challenge
This property bordered a private golf course, offering a rare, peaceful view — but the original layout, uneven elevations, and setback restrictions made the backyard feel closed off and disconnected from the scenery.
Instead of celebrating the view, the yard unintentionally blocked it.
The Solution
We reimagined the backyard to open up sightlines and invite the landscape in. By thoughtfully grading the space and using wide borders and strategic plantings, we preserved privacy while giving the property a sense of openness and flow.
A natural stone pathway now leads gracefully from the patio toward the open view, creating a seamless, intuitive connection between the home and the golf course beyond.
